What telematics data does Catena provide?

Understand which data types Catena normalizes from connected ELD providers.

Catena normalizes and provides the following data types, subject to what each carrier's ELD provider makes available:

  • Vehicle locations: real-time GPS coordinates, speed, odometer, fuel level, engine hours.
  • Driver information: driver profiles, HOS (Hours of Service) data including availabilities, events, daily snapshots, and violations.
  • Fleet information: vehicle details including VIN, make, model, and year.
  • DVIR logs: Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • IFTA summaries: International Fuel Tax Agreement mileage data (where supported by the TSP).
  • Fuel transactions: fuel purchase records (where supported by the TSP).
  • Engine logs and safety events: fault codes, engine status, and driver safety events (where supported by the TSP).
  • Trailer data: trailer locations and reefer/trailer status including temperature, door status, and humidity (available for select TSPs).

Note: Not all TSPs support every data type. Availability depends on the carrier's provider and the permissions granted when connecting.
