How far back does historical data go?
Understand how Catena retains telematics data and execution logs.
Catena retains telematics data (vehicle locations, HOS records, DVIR logs, etc.) for as long as the underlying share agreement is active. When a carrier disconnects or revokes access, their historical data remains accessible in the API for the duration of your retention period.
Execution logs (the record of each individual data fetch attempt) are retained for 7 days and then automatically removed from the List Executions endpoint.
