How do my carriers connect their ELDs to the platform?

Catena uses an invitation flow called Catena Connect. You generate a magic link for each carrier through the Catena API and share it with them. When your carrier clicks the link, they are guided through three steps:

• Select their telematics service provider (TSP) from the list of supported providers.
• Enter their TSP credentials. Depending on the provider, this may be a username and password, a company ID and password, or an API key.
• Confirm the connection. Once validated, Catena begins pulling data from their TSP.

Carriers can connect more than one TSP in the same session if their fleet uses multiple providers.

Note: Magic links expire after 24 hours. If a carrier's link has expired before they complete onboarding, see article 1.5 for how to resend it.
